The Ramblin' Bog - IRELAND and DENMARK

Yo yo! 5 days into the trip, im sitting at København Central Station
at the internet cafe - listening to a heavy metal band that is playing
in the center court - actually a couple sweedes just bumped me off
the net for a minute, so they could determine the best way to get to
Germany (Trelleborg-Sassnitz by ferry) - the next stop, Berlin!

The weather has been totally agreeing with us, sunny, breezy, wunderland

- Springtime in Europe -

Linked up with Al at the busstation in Galway after first bumping into a classmate of his at the trainstation (its a small world no matter how far you travel). Met the lovely Regina and Angela who cooked us fry up at three in the morning after a night of dance and drink (eggs, toast, sausage, blood pudding, YUM!) After a few nights there, and a 3 hour bus from galway to dublin, we took a 6:45am flight to Copenhagen.

Upon arrival, we met two american birds, who hit us with maps and the skinny on the area. First stop was un bistro "vero italiano" for tasties, and a paint shop "fresh connection" for supplies. took a nap in the park and hit up a few hostels, most of which were fully occupied, finally found DanHostel, which was nicer than most hotels/motels ive stayed in America. Bunked with an old Dane named Lars, nice chap.

We spent the last two nights in the countryside of Denmark, in a
small village named Køge pron: Kuu, kinda...

They say Danish is like speaking with a mouth filled with pudding.

My 5 favorite things about Denmark:

1- the women are stylish, slim and beautiful

2- you can piss in the streets

3- most people are happy to speak english

4- the bars and clubs are open all night

5- the stars twinkle at night

We also traveled to a place called Christiana, a kind of hippy music commune where all are welcome, hashish is openly smoked and people are kind. We met a fellow, Yesba, who showed us the ropes of rolling and riding the metro (for free!). After getting back to our DanHostel at 6:00am, i took a shower, and went for a walk to find some hot tea. Later that day the Fri Hash Protest March rolled through town and we joined in, pictures to follow :D
